Acceptance of Terms and Conditions

The following are the rules and “Terms” that govern your use of this site and the services offered to you on this site. By using this site you agree to be bound by and to follow these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations governing this site. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use this site. We reserve the right to change these Terms at any time, effective immediately upon posting on this site. The Tuxedo Club may change, suspend or discontinue all or any aspect of the services (the “Services”) offered to you on this site, including the availability of any feature, database, or Content (collectively, “Content”), without prior notice or liability. By using this site following any changes you agree to be bound by the Terms as changed.

Tuxedo Rental Agreement

This Rental Agreement sets forth all the terms and conditions of your rental of products from The Tuxedo Club through our retail store, website and or direct ordering by telephone, fax and/or electronic mail.

  1. Costs and Fees.  The fee for rented merchandise shall include:  the rental fees, applicable taxes, damage waiver, shipping and handling and any other fees described in the order detailed on the checkout page. Placing an order means that you understand and authorize The Tuxedo Club to immediately charge your credit card for the total fees associated with your order.  By submitting you payment card, or any associated payment method, you authorize The Tuxedo Club to charge payment for any fees incurred as described in these rental terms.  If the event creator chooses the option to pay for all the tuxedo rentals, he or she will be responsible for making all payments and any fees incurred if the tuxedo is not returned, or returned late.
  2. Pick Ups.  Your rental items will be available for pick up on the Wednesday before your event date unless other rental conditions have been arranged and are confirmed in writing on your rental agreement. The Tuxedo Club shall not be held responsible for any issues if you choose not to try on your items on your scheduled pick up date. 
  3. Receipt of Order. It is your responsibility to immediately inspect and try on all of the items ordered on your pick up date  If any garment does not fit or if you find any issues with your rental items, you must notify us within 24 hours of pick up.  After that date, The Tuxedo Club shall not be responsible for any issues. 
  4. Exchanges. It is your responsibility to pick up and try on your rental items on your pick up date.  If any garment does not fit, you must notify us within 24 hours of pick up or delivery.  You are entitled to no charge exchanges for size as long as the request is made within 24 hours of pick up or delivery. 

    All style changes are subject to a $15 fee. 

  5. Returns. Rental returns are due back on, or before, the first Monday following your event. Rentals may be returned in-store, handed to the employee on duty, or via our 24/7 Return Drop Box located on the side of the building. If you need to keep your rental longer than the standard timeframe, we offer 7-Day Rental Extensions for $25. Otherwise, late fees are $20/day late. 
  6. Cancellations.  Rental orders cancelled more than 10 days before event date receive a full refund, minus a $35 cancellation fee. After that day, you understand and agree, that the Tuxedo Club will not provide a refund or credit for any reason, including but not limited to event cancellations, inclement weather, and/or for any other reason outside of our control. This is a firm policy designed to prevent fraud and abuse of our system. This allows us to keep our prices low for all customers, and ensure the highest integrity of our service.
  7. Order Changes. If you need to make any changes to your order, please contact us at least 10 days before your event date. After that date, a fee may apply. 
  8. Postponed Events. If your event is postponed, you must purchase a rental extension to cover the additional time that your items will remain in your possession. A rental extension may be purchased for $25-per-additional-week/per-person which is much more economical than being subject to our standard $20-per-day/per-person late fee.
  9. Customer Alterations.  Customers may make non-permanent alterations to the rental items at their own expense. These alterations must be non-permanent and may only apply to the coat sleeve and pant length.  No permanent alterations are permitted under any circumstances, no exceptions. 
  10. Complimentary Measuring Party Appointment. Our In-Store Measuring Party is a special experience for wedding parties of 5 or more paying members. Gather your group for a private fitting appointment and enjoy complimentary drinks and refreshments while we take care of your measurements. Appointments must be booked in advance by calling 1-888-764-1980.

    Terms & Conditions
    A valid card must be kept on file at the time of booking. A $50 fee will be charged for no-shows to cover the cost of materials prepared for your appointment and employee time reserved. If fewer than 5 members attend the scheduled measuring party without timely notice, a fee may apply at our discretion.

  11. Free Groom Promotion. Our Free Groom offer applies to wedding parties with 4 or more paid rentals booked under the same event. If the number of paid rentals drops below 5 due to cancellations or non-payment, the groom’s free rental will be forfeited, and the standard rental rate will apply. This promotion is non-transferable and has no cash value.

  12. Personal Effects.  We are not responsible for personal property accidentally or otherwise returned with the rental order.

Purchase Agreement

  1. Purchase Agreement – Returns & Exchanges
    Unused purchase items may be returned or exchanged within 30 days of the purchase date or before the “event date” provided at the time of ordering (as listed on your order slip), whichever comes first, with the original receipt. If the item was ordered and picked up in-store, the 30-day window begins on the date the item arrived/ the date the customer was notified for pickup. Items must be in original condition with tags attached. After the applicable date, all sales are final. A 10% Restock Fee may apply. 


Terms and Conditions of Website Use.  Except as expressly provided in these Terms and Conditions of Website Use neither any part of this website nor any content located herein may be reproduced in any form, copied, republished, posted, publicly displayed, encoded, reproduced, translated, transmitted or distributed in any form to any computer, server, website, or other electronic or other device for purposes of publication or dissemination without written consent executed by the legal department of The Tuxedo Club.  You agree you may not pursue any course of action with the purpose of gaining unauthorized access to the website in any form or by any method whatsoever. You agree not to interfere with the function of the website, or any systems or networks connected to the website.  You agree that you will not disguise any communication or access the site using a fictitious identity.  You agree that The Tuxedo Club has the right at any time, and without notification terminate your access to the website or otherwise interrupt service to the website as necessary or convenient.
